Accounting Manager

About the role

Dashing Diva is seeking an Accounting Manager who oversees the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting, manages daily accounting activities, and leads the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and supervising accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and cash management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Perform and review monthly account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and support accounting team members.
• Monitor and analyze financial results, including budget-to-actual variances.
• Partner with senior management to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure timely completion of tax filings and other financial reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous accounting supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CPA certification is preferred but not required

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 yearly
