Accounting Manager

About the role

Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is currently seeking experienced Accounting Managers for a growing Denver team. The role involves supporting clients with a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in a variety of interim and project-based accounting needs
• Handling routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management
• Performing monthly closing procedures and preparing/reviewing monthly account reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and researching technical GAAP issues
• Adapting to various client environments and communicating effectively at all levels within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• 3-5 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
• Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains, or Intacct)
• Moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Ability to work in a small to mid-sized company environment
• Desire for consulting-style work and excellent client service
• Humble, hungry, smart attitude

Preferred Skills

• Revenue recognition experience
• Experience working with both public and private companies
• Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS, and Big Four/public accounting
• Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBP
