Accounting Manager (35158)

What You Bring To The Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BBA or BS); Master’s degree is a plus
• CPA certification or progress toward certification strongly preferred
• 7-9 years of robust accounting and audit experience, including 2-3 years in a managerial capacity
• Hands-on experience managing teams responsible for general ledger functions, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Great Plains, or NetSuite, along with Blackline
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with accelerated month-end closes (3-5 days) and managing cross-functional collaboration

Additional Strengths That Would Be Advantageous

• International accounting experience
• Project management expertise
• Flexibility to operate within hybrid work arrangements, aligning with reporting cycles

Preferred Educational And Experiential Background

• Degree in Accounting with a focus on leadership roles
• Recent experience managing core GL functions within a similar setting

Other Requirements

• Must be local to Philadelphia, PA (2005 Market St, Two Commerce Square) or Riverwoods, IL (2700 Lake Cook Rd)
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite)
• Ready to transition from temporary to full-time after six months, with a target salary upon conversion of $140K + 15% STIP
