Accounting Manager

About the role

The ideal candidate will lead the accounting department, manage financial operations, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage budgeting processes and monitor spending to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including external auditors.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain financial integrity and support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial planning and analysis.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting.

Pay

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
