Myers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health and human services consulting firm specializing in audit, accounting, data management, and consulting services for government-sponsored health care programs, primarily state Medicaid agencies and the federal Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
About the role
- Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects
- Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
- Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
- Respond to all inquiries and requests
- Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
- Maintain a positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
- Gain computer proficiency in administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research
- Present a professional appearance and manner
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
This position is on-site in our Atlanta, GA office and may transition to a full-time direct hire after graduation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Active participation in student organizations and/or work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, plan, and manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
Schedule
40 hours per week, flexible within a traditional Monday–Friday business week.
