Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects
- Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
- Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
- Respond to all inquiries and requests
- Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
- Maintain a positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and the firm
- Gain computer proficiency in administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research
- Present a professional appearance and manner
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned
This position could potentially transition into a direct hire full-time role after graduation.
Requirements
- Intern must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field
Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Active participation in student organizations and work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively multi-task, plan, and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite
Schedule
This position is on-site in our Atlanta, GA office. The schedule requires 40 hours per week and is flexible within a traditional Monday–Friday business week.
