Accounting Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including month/year-end close processes for client engagements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
• Review work of Staff Accountants (2-3 direct reports)
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and best practices
• Lead client meetings to present financial results and recommendations
• Research technical accounting issues and draft position papers
• Optimize client accounting processes through technology integration

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA certification (active). 4+ years public accounting experience. Expertise in GAAP financial reporting.
• PREFERRED: Experience with QuickBooks Online and Exro. Client-facing advisory experience. Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition. Experience mentoring junior staff.
