Accounting & Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, such as entries to the general ledger, monitoring and balancing of activity and ongoing research as needed.
• Aid in the preparation of the monthly budget plan, review and track operating expenses, and provide detailed analysis and support for monthly results.
• Generate ad hoc budget, profitability, and financial analyses as required.
• Prepare quarterly and ad hoc regulatory reports, including responding to internal and external audit inquiries.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, including analysis and resolution of outstanding items.
• Close the books monthly and annually, as needed.
• Set up new vendors and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
• Handle vendor invoice and payment inquiries, accurately review and process invoices.
• Manage the Bank's credit card program, approving and supporting records.
• Assist in updating existing procedures and creating new procedures within various areas of the department.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a graduate degree program.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.

The base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00, with actual salaries varying based on various factors including location, experience, and performance.
