What You’ll Do Role As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while providing a high level of service to both our internal and external customers: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers through phone, email, and other forms of communicationProcess Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable invoicingProcess customer payments (checks, credit cards, ACH/EFT)Post and manage freight bills (FedEx, UPS, R&L Carriers)Assist with A/P processing (including drop shipments)Handle incoming mail and administrative tasksRespond promptly and professionally to customer account inquiries and invoice requestsWork effectively and collaboratively with staff across all departments to resolve questions, address issues, and support company needsBuild positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and other business contactsAssist with minor collections, including written and verbal communication with customersTake on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Requirements What We're Looking For Strong customer-service mindset with excellent professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a wide range of people, including internal and external customers, in a professional and team-oriented mannerHighly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong data-entry skillsExperience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics experience is a plusProfessional, positive, and solutions-oriented attitudeBasic understanding of accounting principlesPrevious accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general office experience preferred What You Bring (Qualifications) Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experienceAccounting Experience is preferredMinimum of 2 years of office or clerical experience Physical Requirements Ability to work in an office/cubicle environmentAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of timeFrequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipmentAbility to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronicallyAbility to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the officeAbility to lift and carry office materials, files, or packages weighing up to 20 poundsAbility to perform work requiring visual attention to detail, including reviewing documents, invoices, spreadsheets, and other financial informationAbility to maintain productivity and accuracy while performing repetitive computer and data-entry tasks Why Join InstroTek?
