Accounting Clerk

Description Of Primary Responsibilities

• Supports the accounts receivable function for Aqua Engineers, Inc
• Supports the accounts payable function for Aqua Engineers, Inc
• Maintains supplies of office inventories and performs basic administrative duties
• Performs administrative duties for administrative clients
• Develops general organizational skills to manage own work
• Works independently and collaborates as part of a team
• Selects alternatives and completes tasks effectively
• Considers the impact of work on colleagues and responds appropriately

Professional & Technical Knowledge

• Basic organizational skills to manage own work
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Computational and computer skills
• Mathematical knowledge
• Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting skills and procedures
• Understanding and ability to explain Aqua Engineers job costing processes and codes

Technical Skills

• Ability to prepare basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word
• Proficient with accounting software used by the company (MAS90)
• Uses Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information
• Creates basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software and other software used by the accounting department

Physical Demands

• Job duties are performed under typical office conditions

Pay

Pay Range: $24.10 - $28.24 per hour

Incentive Bonus

An annual incentive bonus with an earning potential of 10% of base pay.
