Accounting Associate (CAAS - Higher Education)

Job Responsibilities

• Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Captures day-to-day transactions including accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Completes month-end processing tasks such as financial statements, account reconciliations (bank & credit card, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals), and complex reconciliations.
• Completes quarterly and annual processing tasks including sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client-requested forms or items.

Job Requirements

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The wage range for this position in Minnesota is: $53,700 - $93,000.
