Accounting Assistant

Premier Capital Hellas SA, the operator of 33 McDonald’s restaurants in Greece, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support financial and inventory operations in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

Based in Athens at our Distribution Center in Aspropyrgos, the Accounting Assistant will report to the Accounting & Tax Manager and serve as the liaison between the Finance Department and the Distribution Center. The role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, control, and reporting of all warehouse-related financial and inventory transactions. Key responsibilities include maintaining accuracy of inventory data, tracking stock movements, managing warehouse-related cost accounting, and enforcing financial controls within the Distribution Center.

The position requires strong collaboration with the Distribution Center team, Procurement, Operations, Store Managers, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate data flow between operational systems and accounting records. A solid understanding of both accounting principles and warehouse operations is essential to ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the Finance Department and the Distribution Center.
• Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, control, and reporting of warehouse-related financial and inventory transactions.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory data and track stock movements.
• Manage warehouse-related cost accounting and financial controls.
• Collaborate with Distribution Center teams, Procurement, Operations, Store Managers, and Finance to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, inventory accounting, warehouse finance, or a related role, preferably in Retail, FMCG, Food Service, Logistics, or Distribution industries.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for learning.
• Fluency in both Greek and English.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
