Accounting Assistant

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a team in Findlay, Ohio on a Contract basis. This approximately eight-week assignment supports key business operations with a focus on financial transaction processing and daily accounting coordination. The role is well suited for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and bring accuracy to payables, receivables, and cash-related activities. Responsibilities:• Process vendor invoices accurately, including reviewing details and assigning the correct coding before entry.• Support accounts payable activities by preparing payments, tracking due dates, and helping maintain organized records.• Assist with accounts receivable tasks such as posting incoming payments and monitoring outstanding balances. • Experience supporting accounting operations, preferably in an accounts payable or accounts receivable environment.• Working knowledge of invoice coding and general financial recordkeeping practices.• Ability to handle detailed transactional work with a high degree of accuracy.
