About the role
Kotlar Cohen is a Mount Laurel, NJ-based company specializing in personal injury, workers’ compensation litigation, and medical revenue billing. We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Specialist to join our law firm.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Assist in managing the financial operations of the law firm, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Expense Management: Track and analyze expenses, ensuring they are properly allocated, recorded, and reported.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in the processing of invoices, billings, payments, and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, attorneys, and administrative staff to ensure smooth financial operations and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting is preferred.
- Motivated and Driven: Strong ambition and desire to take on increasing responsibilities and grow within the organization.
- Independent Worker: Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously to take ownership of financial responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using financial software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
- Integrity: Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in handling financial matters.
- Organization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Pay commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
