Accounting Analyst contract in Newport News, VA - Make $1,398 - $1,628/week

About the role

Aya is seeking an Accounting Analyst Non-Clinical - Finance/Accounting in Newport News, VA. This position will be working 5x8-hour shifts from 08:00 - 17:00.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Support budget preparation and analysis
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial records

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance/accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred but not required

Skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with Epic and PointClickCare charting systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
