About the role

Responsibilities
- Aid in financial closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, creating ad-hoc reports, and performing balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support.
- Create and deliver ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with operations management to meet business needs.
- Engage actively with internal customers to establish a robust internal financial control environment, contributing to a culture of transparency and integrity.
- Participate in location audits, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in Accounting/Finance roles with a solid understanding of accounting processes and financial principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, including spreadsheet creation, editing, pivot tables, graphing, data manipulation, and formula development.
- Effective communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to various audiences and providing clear presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in ERP systems and construction industry practices.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience using generative AI to streamline workflows and enhance outcomes.
