Accounting Analyst

Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking an Accounting Analyst to support our Finance department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about numbers, and enjoys helping others.

Responsibilities

• Filing, depositing money, and collections
• Tracking expenses and bookkeeping
• Reporting directly to the Controller
• Handling incoming mail for the Accounts Receivables department
• Helping manage Accounts Receivables email
• Maintaining professional and courteous communication, ensuring confidentiality
• Processing daily Accounts Receivable transactions and invoices
• Managing the collections process for outstanding client balances
• Contacting clients to set up ACH payments and processing ACH requests
• Tracking invoicing portals
• Cooking firm purchase cards

Requirements

• An associate degree in the finance/bookkeeping/accounting field (or equivalent experience)
• Two to five years of experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of standard office procedures, equipment, and relevant software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Accurate numerical calculations and work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
