About the role
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing data to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers and accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
