Accounting Analyst

Job Description Position Summary: Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely information, maintenance of client profit and loss account as well as overall compliance with internal company procedures and controls. The Assistant Accountant will collaborate closely with other financial departments, including AR, AP, PO, Tax, Payroll, Treasury and HR in order to meet all objectives. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Works with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze and report financial data. File and manage the electronic portfolio of accounts.Enter information into company databases to ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.Communicate with internal and external clients to supply or obtain information.Participate in the process improvements as related to the processing of accounting documents Assist in special projects and year end projects as requested Qualifications Technical Knowledge and key attributes: 2-4 years previous accounting experienceBachelor?s Degree in accounting, finance or similar field strongly preferredStrong computer skills, particularly MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interact well with various level of financial and operating personnelAbility to work independentlyPossess the ability to identify problems and propose solutionsFlexibility, multitasking with the ability to meet deadlinesMust be a strong team playerBeing analytical, collaborative and conscientious is essential.
