Responsibilities
- Perform the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Prepare financial schedules and ensure accuracy and maintenance in accordance with US GAAP
- Aid in preparing financial statements for senior management and other third parties as needed
- Identify, design, and implement AI-driven improvements and automate key accounting functions
- Support procurement process, vendor management, and employee expense reports
- Perform various projects such as research, special projects, and analysis as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience using AI agents, such as Claude and ChatGPT
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software and Concur
- Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Pay
The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $80,000 USD - $90,000 USD.
