Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly fixed assets and prepaid accounting
- Supports daily liquidity and funds management
- Prepare general ledger certifications (i.e. correspondent bank accounts, asset/liability general leger accounts and bank control accounts) and applicable schedules
- Aid in the month end close process and reporting, including variance analysis
- Aid in preparing the quarterly Call Report and supporting schedules
- Supports preparation of various analytical reports and information
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies
- Research and resolve discrepancies timely
- Collaborate with different departments to achieve the various deliverables on financial reporting
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounting Experience
- Commercial banking accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Minimum of intermediate experience in Excel

- Understand and follow the Bank’s BSA/AML policies including elevating suspicious activity to the BSA Officer
