Accounting Analyst (Accounts Payable)

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procedures to support the market and transmission settlement process.
• Identify improvements to settlement procedures and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
• Navigate the steps of invoice verification, coding, and processing, and ensure alignment with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Independently ensure accurate and efficient issuance of year-end tax documents to suppliers.
• Manage travel and expense reimbursements.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• PREFERABLY familiar with electric utility industry accounting practices.
• FAMILIARITY with computer accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
• PREFERABLY experienced with Concur Solutions.

Pay

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $71,000-96,000 USD annually.
