About the role

The Accounting Administrator will use their accounting and finance expertise and attention to detail to ensure the faithful stewardship of resources that support SonSet Solutions' global ministry efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Process and deposit donations, ensuring accurate record-keeping in QuickBooks
  • Generate and verify donor reports for various payment batches and schedules
  • Review, approve, and process expense reports and reimbursements
  • Manage credit card transactions and assign charges to appropriate accounts
  • Create purchase orders and coordinate approvals for recurring expenses
  • Oversee petty cash management and monthly reconciliation
  • Track and allocate departmental expenses and copy charges
  • Support financial reporting and maintain accurate donation records

Requirements

  • A follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for the gospel
  • Committed to SonSet Solutions' Statement of Faith
  • Full-time position, onsite in Elkhart, Indiana
  • Financial support-raising is required for the role

Qualifications

  • Experienced in accounting software, ideally with QuickBooks and Donor Perfect
  • Skilled in financial record-keeping and report generation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable with ACH/credit card processing
