Accounting Administrative Associate

We’re seeking an Accounting Administrative Associate to work at a premier manufacturing client in Kernersville, NC.

About the role

You’ll perform highly complex clerical accounting duties, including calculations, analysis, reconciliations, verifications, and postings.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring three-way match between purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain vendor master data and appropriate documentation.
• Prepare and process payment runs and support month-end close activities.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collate and analyze data, generate standard reports, and support data management systems.
• Adhere to internal controls, company policies, and all accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 or more years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Strong experience with SAP (strongly preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume invoice environment preferred.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, cost centers, and GL coding.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Pay

$26.00 per hour (1-year contract).

Schedule

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
