Accountant - Remote

Job Responsibilities

• Performs accounts receivable accounting tasks including adjustments, memos, month end journal entries and variance analysis.
• Completes accounting and reporting activities in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and prescribed accounting policies and/or the financial procedures of the organization.
• Ensures month-end close and financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Acts as a liaison with the general ledger and corporate accounting teams to ensure regular, timely, and accurate closes.
• Prepares standard reporting templates and packages accurately and timely.
• Provides documentation and support to internal and external auditors.
• Maintains service level agreements and key performance indicators for the accounts receivable accounting function.
• Helps nurture an environment of continuous improvement in the accounts receivable function.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical accounting skills.
• Proven problem-solving and dispute resolution abilities.
• High level of organizational skills, time management, and accountability.

Pay

The Salaried rate for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
