Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Control inventory accounts to ensure inventory balance in system matches physical inventory.
- Control inventory movement in system to reflect actual receipt/issuance of physical inventory.
- Make quantity adjustments to ensure inventory balance in system matches physical inventory balance.
- Conduct physical inventory counts with relevant functions to ensure accurate inventory balance.
- Collaborate with GL accountant to close each inventory account's ending balance accurately.
- Prepare monthly inventory reports for the Finance manager.
Key Challenges
- Ensure inventory movement in system is accurate in line with actual movement.
- Ensure inventory balance in system is accurate with physical inventory balance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: At least 3 years in Accounting or Finance-related field.
- Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles; proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with accounting systems (SAP preferred); strong communication skills.
