Accountant II - Supply Chain

This role supports financial reporting, manages accounts payable, reconciles intercompany transactions, monitors vendor compliance, and ensures accuracy in inventory and landed cost calculations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly financial reports with accuracy and completeness; prepare journal entries and other duties necessary for month-end close.
• Manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and resolve AP discrepancies in a timely manner; record and log incoming payments with precision.
• Set up and maintain vendor profiles, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor vendor insurance coverage, ensure compliance, and track renewal schedules.
• Generate and review inventory reports, investigate variances, and support order management.
• Accurately calculate and apply landed costs for imported goods.
• Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts, back charges, warehouse and logistics costs, and other Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring correct classification and adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–4 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., JDE, Ebix) and financial software tools.
• Strong understanding of month-end closing, accounts payable, and inventory management processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as within a team.
• Occasional travel to NYC office (30% travel).

Pay

Hourly rate between $36.06 - $40.87 with eligibility for bonuses.
