Location: Bagdad, AZ Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually Description Job Details: Title: Accountant II Location: Bagdad, AZ 86321 Duration: Open Contract Pay Range: $65,000 - 90,000/Annually Day To Day Complete assigned duties as part of the accounting close process. Apply knowledge of accounting policies and procedures to tasks which include recording journal entries, collaborating with site finance groups and research and analysis among other duties. Analyze financial and operational data and communicate results timely and effectively to management and site finance personnel. Perform analysis and reconciliation through system queries, research, investigation of reconciling items and resolution. Review processes for improvements as changes occur or new requirements are added to the month-end close process. Use knowledge gained in making recommendations that are practical and which gain efficiencies. Perform other accounting and special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as required. Required High School diploma or GED and six (6) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc..) in Accounting or Finance; OR Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and four (4) years professional experience in accounting; OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area and two (2) years of accounting experience; OR Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area Preferred Qualifications Experience in SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Business Objects Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across management levels Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Understanding of manufacturing or mining industry financial operations Understanding of OKRs and KPI tracking Understanding of financial regulations and SOX controls Benefits Featured Medical, Dental , and Vision Insurance is offered to qualified candidates.
