Accountant I - Full Time - Remote

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Afford assistance in processing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements as needed.
• Maintain customer and vendor contract data within the accounting system.
• Afford support for monthly/yearly closing statements.
• Provide support for external audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proven analytical skills, solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting software programs and comprehensive experience with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting preferred.
• Ability to travel.

Pay

Budgeted between $50,400 and $62,273 dependent upon applicable experience.
