Accountant I
About the role
Perform accounting and reporting duties primarily focused on the accounting close process. Responsibilities include recording journal entries, performing financial analysis and account reconciliations among other duties.
Responsibilities
- Record journal entries
- Perform financial analysis
- Perform account reconciliations
- Complete assigned duties as part of the accounting close process
- Apply knowledge of accounting policies and procedures to assigned tasks
- Research and analyze assigned tasks
- Resolve reconciling items
- Analyze, interpret and communicate action items or variances to supervisor
- Aid in accounting and reporting activities and special projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and four (4) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolonged intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc.) in Accounting or Finance
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and two (2) years professional experience in accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area
Qualifications

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $56,000-$77,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.

Schedule
This role is eligible for non-standard schedules, including shift work at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
