About the role
The Accountant I is an entry-level position that assists the accounting staff in technical aspects of compliance and production work. This role is primarily office-based but includes travel to project job sites to meet with project teams and subcontractors. Responsibilities
- Assists with pay applications
- Tracks and reviews receivables
- Reviews and processes accounts payable
- Ensures overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Provides accounting support for on-site project management teams
- Assists with payroll functions, including adjustments and closings
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Pay
Salary ranges from $56,000.00 to $75,000.00 for Albany, NY, plus benefits and retirement program. Compensation is determined based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
