About the role
This position supports state and federal student financial aid and loan programs for a client in Tallahassee, FL.
Responsibilities
- Vouch deposits and disbursements of state & federal and student financial aid/loan programs
- Perform weekly and monthly fund reconciliations
- Prepare and update OSFA's procedures and training manuals
- Conduct compliance reviews of nonpublic post-secondary institutions
- Work inter-dependently with team members
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Community College Accounting Certificate and/or 3 years of experience working for the State of Florida (familiarity with FLAIR or FLPALM)
- Professional business experience
- Basic accounting experience
- Experience working with FLAIR or FLPALM
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
