Accountant Fuel
About the role
The Fuel accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of fuel-related journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of JetBlue’s internal and external financial reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing month-end and quarter-end accruals and reclassifications, partnering with business teams, and researching and resolving accounting-related items. The role also supports the development and implementation of the new fuel system and accounting processes through testing, issue resolution, and coordination with key stakeholders. The role will help ensure successful implementation while maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing accounting activities associated with new processes.
Equipment: Computer and other office equipment. Work Environment: Traditional office environment. Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently (Sedentary).
