About the role

You will be joining the Department of Mental Health committed to a culture of teamwork and delivering excellent service to the citizens of Missouri. Division of Administrative Services Accounting Unit is a multi-faceted unit and provides growth and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

  • Medicaid and Non-Medicaid claim confirmation reporting and invoice processing.
  • Analysis of invoices during the approval process and resolve errors.
  • Complete reconciliation of invoices approved in SAMII to internal DMH systems.
  • Reconcile and review monthly bank reconciliations of Consumer Banking and local depository bank accounts.
  • Complete journal vouchers (JVRs), as needed.
  • Routinely work with Division/Facility staff and external stakeholders.
  • Master and assist with DMH internal processing systems.
  • Provide ad hoc queries and reports.
  • Provide invoice information to contracted providers upon request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
  • Working knowledge of Financial Reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SAMII Financial and Data Warehouse.

Pay

The base salary offered for this position ranges from $41,700.00 - $50,232.00 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.

Schedule

Normal work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, and flextime may be available.
