About the role
White Star Contracting is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and VAT compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Indian nationality (preferred).
- Male candidate (as per job requirement).
