Construction (Project) Accountant
About the role
A nationally recognized and extremely successful design firm located in Los Angeles is seeking a Construction (Project) Accountant on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Handle project, intercompany, and client billing
- Manage project budgets
- Review client and analyze contracts
- Accounts receivable-collections and project expense management
- Account/bank reconciliation
- Manage contract compliance
- General ledger management
- Month-end assistance and journal entry preparation
- Work closely with Project Managers, Auditors, and assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is preferred
- At least three years of construction accounting experience (i.e., project accounting, client billing, project budgets, revenue analysis, etc.)
- Very good time management and communication skills
- Strong MS Office knowledge is required. Deltek experience is preferred

Pay
$80 - 90k + bonus
