Accountant
Ziegler Related Companies applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions for related entities
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile various accounts as assigned
- Assist with various daily and monthly cash activities (e.g., reconciliations, debt management, etc.)
- Post general ledger journal entries
- Maintain financial databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
- Assist with annual audit
- Work in a cooperative manner with team and superiors
- Resolve accounting discrepancies
- Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems
- Report to management regarding the finances of establishment
- Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
- Reconciliation of inter-company accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree required; accounting, finance, or business-related preferred
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Attention to Detail, Commitment / Dependability, Integrity, Problem Solving, Efficiency
- Advanced Microsoft skills, specifically Microsoft Excel

Pay
The pay range for this position is $26.85 to $32.21 per hour. Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education, and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
