Accountant
About the role
The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our National Accounts and ESS departments who brings financial insight, precision, and a passion for collaboration to the table. In this role, you will support general accounting and inventory financial processes for our National Accounts subsidiary and ESS. You will partner with cross-functional teams to execute financial closings, analyze data, and contribute to operational success—all while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive month-end closing activities, including journal entries and general ledger accuracy.
- Lead the inventory financial process: standard costing, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze revenue and expense reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and treasury teams to ensure financial alignment.
- Support internal and external audits, forecasting, and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 + years of multi-faceted accounting and business related experience.
- Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional environments.
Qualifications
- Excellent Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Prior experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Flexible and dependable in a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.
- Problem-solving mindset, with experience resolving issues related to inventory, invoicing, and general accounting.
Skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Pay
$65,440 - $83,895 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Schedule
Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person Monday through Wednesday at our Greene, NY office and work remotely Thursday/Friday upon completion of training. Typical first shift hours of 8AM to 5PM
