Accountant

About the role

Therapists Beyond Borders is seeking a compassionate, pro-bono accountant to support us in our mission of empowering worldwide communities that care for individuals with disabilities through rehab-focused training programs. While this is a volunteer position, the successful applicant may be eligible for a stipend.

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliation for one checking account and one savings account quarterly
• IRS Form 990 tax submission
• Payroll and related taxes for two part-time employees
• Monthly bookkeeping for seven accounts involving around 1,400 transactions per year
• General compliance consultation
• Account auditing (optional)

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Demonstrate high levels of fiduciary responsibility
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
