Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments
- Codify expenses and invoices to appropriate grants and funding sources
- Prepare journal entries and support month end close activities
- Create accounts receivable invoices and process cash receipts
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Track grant activity and maintain supporting documentation
- Sustain NetSuite operations, reporting, and process improvements
- Aid with audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts payable and journal entries
- NetSuite experience strongly required
- Experience with Bill.com preferred
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
