About the Role
St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is a 229-bed, acute care hospital located in Enid, OK, serving the healthcare needs of northwest Oklahoma for over 100 years. We host more than 125 highly skilled physicians offering specialties in Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women’s Imaging, Wound Care, and more.
This role involves maintaining general ledger accounts and cash activities, including related journal entries and analysis. You will assist other staff and managers in all finance activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and support the Controller with financial statements and reporting to UHS Corporate.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and cash activities.
- Prepare and analyze journal entries.
- Assist other finance staff and managers in financial activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support the Controller with financial statements and reporting to UHS Corporate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field (required).
- 3–5 years of previous experience as an accountant (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Good typing skills and ten-key by touch.
