About the role

Santeiu Vaults is a family-owned business with over 50 years of continuous operation. The company provides burial vaults and cremation services and is known for its compassion, reliability, and long-term service to the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate system of accounting record keeping in QuickBooks for Santeiu Vaults and related entities
• Establish comprehensive controls and documenting processes for accounting and credit cards
• Manage cash flow through daily deposits and ACH payments and reconcile the company’s bank and credit card accounts
• Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and interpreting financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports
• Process payroll including tax and liability payments and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and employment verifications
• Maintain positive working relationships with all outside professional services, including vendors, CPA firm, financial institutions, etc.
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Responsible for effectively handling all insurance-related audits
• HR administration for all new and current employees
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the company’s cash and deposit accounts
