Accountant

About the role

This position is for an accounting professional that will use critical thinking and communication skills to apply accounting theory and knowledge. This position will apply skills to specific areas such as cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, account reconciliations, and accounting policy compliance for PCC Airfoils. This individual must ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Apply skills to specific areas such as cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, account reconciliations, and accounting policy compliance for PCC Airfoils.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies.

Requirements

• Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
• Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record.
• Must be able to read and understand financial statements.
• Must have good attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Must maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Accounting.
• One to three years of accounting experience; manufacturing operation experience preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
