Accountant

About the role

Our client is active in Curaçao and Bonaire, assisting clients with accountancy, taxation, and strategy. They are looking for experienced accountants to join their growing team in Curaçao or Bonaire, offering a challenging work environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records, annual financial statements, and financial documents.
• Advise on financial, fiscal, and legal matters.
• Verify the quality and reliability of financial and fiscal documents.
• Prepare business reports.
• Perform private and judicial expertise.
• Assist in setting up business structures.

Requirements

• Completed HBO/WO degree in Business Economics, Accountancy, or Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to handle stress and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical insight.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Reliability and a professional demeanor.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping systems.
