We're looking for an Accountant who loves getting the details right, enjoys solving problems, and wants the opportunity to take real ownership of their work. You'll play an important role in month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting while partnering with Finance and Commercial Sales leadership. Responsibilities

• Own key month-end close and account reconciliation responsibilities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Identify trends, variances, and potential issues—and help translate the numbers into useful business insights.
• Partner with the team to reconcile promotion costs and distributor accounts, helping maintain accurate spend-to-sales ROI.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Serve as a senior accounting resource for the Finance team, including reviewing work and mentoring the Accountant.
• Help support the transition of Financial Accounting & Reporting to AWG and ensure information is handed off accurately.
• Spot potential close, reconciliation, or reporting risks early and communicate them quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset—you can work independently but also enjoy helping a team succeed.
• Experience supporting a transition to an outsourced finance provider is a plus.

Pay

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Schedule

Hybrid: 3 days in the Office (St. Helena, CA)
