About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and analyzing general ledger account variances to help build a comprehensive understanding of financial drivers and trends.
- Develop and maintain recurring journal entries, ensuring they strictly align with our established procedures.
- Prepare assigned month-end account reconciliations accurately and timely, providing proactive analysis and support to the finance team during monthly close and reporting cycles.
- Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and support internal control compliance efforts.
- Partner with senior team members to provide requested internal and external audit documentation.
- Prepare ad hoc data requests and project work to support business and reporting needs.
- Back up others as needed in our primary accounting center environment, ensuring timely and accurate completion of workloads, giving you broad exposure to multiple accounting processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Accounting preferred.
- At least 2+ years of accounting experience preferred (open to strong early-career candidates).
- Experience with Epicor, or similar ERP (Oracle, JDE, SAP, etc.) operating software packages or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with OneStream is a plus.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products (Excel skills especially valued).
- CPA or CMA preferred but not required, or interest in pursuing professional certification.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

- The capability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Flexibility regarding overtime during periods of peak activity such as month-end close.
- Excellent teamwork, self-starting qualities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
