About the role

The Accountant role assists in preparing financial statements for all divisions of Networking Systems, with a focus on reconciliations, budget management, and cost accounting. This hybrid position requires on-site attendance a minimum of two days per week in Carrollton, GA. The role demands strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Analyze monthly inventory and assist with the annual physical inventory.
• Distribute expense spending to the appropriate cost centers within the division.
• Assist the Plant Controller as assigned.
• Support the Controller in reviewing budget details and preparing budget presentations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to resolve financial issues and drive improvements in profitability and cash flow.
• Prepare annual documents requested by auditors for audit and risk management purposes.
• Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or management.
• Manufacturing background is preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in JDE and/or SAP is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Ability to maintain discretion when handling confidential and proprietary information.
• Strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
