Responsibilities

• Overseeing all AIA billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Managing collections, ensuring all outstanding payments are received promptly
• Handling invoicing, processing credits, and conducting account reconciliations
• Administering cash disbursements and maintaining accurate records of all transactions
• Utilizing your construction accounting experience to manage project-based accounting tasks
• Leveraging HomeSource software to streamline and optimize accounting processes
• Collaborating with other team members to prepare financial reports and statements
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
• Participating in financial audits and implementing any necessary corrective actions

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry
• Proficiency in accounts payable, AIA billing, accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, processing credits, and account reconciliations
• Experience in construction accounting
• Familiarity with HomeSource or similar accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism

Pay

$60,000 - $65,000 per year
