Responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information and ensure legal requirements compliance.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Provide financial analysis and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
• Conduct financial audits, providing recommendations based on detailed reports.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
• Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close process, and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures, including reconciliations and financial auditing.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
