Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join their team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
• Prepare financial statements
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance highly preferred
• 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Pay

$60,000 - $75,000 depending on education and experience.
